Introduction

Hi there,

I’m John, a second year student in the MIxD. I did a bachelor degree in film production. The program of film production is pretty helpful for my essential skills development. Over the last 5 years, I have developed a good theoretical and technical foundations of graphic design and also curious the whole process of designing from the concept to the physical installation.

My expectation for this course is build something awesome. I know it is pretty wide. So in the next couple of weeks, I gotta narrow down my expectation and work as hard as possible, in order to achieve this expectation.

In this course, I’m looking forward to have an experience in making something from concept to physical things. In the process, I hope I can leaned something that I’m not familiar with. For example, programming, using some fantastic tools(laser cutter, etc.) in UQ Innovative to make pieces of materials. And also looking forward to deep my theoretical knowledges to support the designing process going on. For examples, the users experience, the shape and colour of the product, etc.
